Carbon Backup app Exits Beta, now available at Google Play store

We have been following the Carbon Backup app considering that it was released as a beta. The beta version was to expire on January 30 and we were really expecting it on Google Play today. Koush did not fail to our expectations and he has finally released the regular version of this great app that helps you backup all apps installed on your phone to various cloud storage services. What is more, Carbon Backup can even backup the apps to your phone’s SD card.

Carbon Backup requires root access on your Android device to fetch files and then backup them to your selected online cloud storage service such as Google Drive and Dropbox. You can perform manual backups and scheduled backups as for your comfort and make sure regular backups.

Well it is not that Carbon Backup app works only on rooted phones. You can use it even on your non-rooted device but you will have to install a companion utility on your computer. Thus Carbon Backup is one of the best choices available to safely backup your phones data (currently apps only), and we hope Koush will add several other options to enrich our experience with his helpful app.

If you have an Android phone with Android 4.0 and above you can download this app ideal away from the Google Play store for free. The app currently does not support Motorola handsets on account of some bug in the Motorola system.
